Three members of the Kelton FFA chapter participated in the Area 1 Entomology CDE and placed 4th in Area.  These students qualified to compete at the State FFA CDE that will be held at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. 

FFA members who competed were Charmayne Hampton, Chantelle Hampton, and Kristen Garner.

In this event, students apply the fundamentals of entomology and develop skills in identifying common insects and their significance to people and agriculture.
